There is no limit to how small the amount of herb has to be for successful decarboxylation. But, the less you decarb, the longer it takes. When decarbing less than 10 grams of herbs, you can reduce the cooking time by using the filter set instead of the lid and pushing it down to about 1 cm above the herb. This will save you approx. 1 hour of waiting time.
