PAX operates at temperatures hot enough to create vapor, so if it feels hot to the touch it means your PAX is working. It’s expected that the outer shell of PAX will warm during use. These tips can help:
- Hold the device while it's heating, and throughout your session to help dissipate heat.
- Hold the device closer to the mouthpiece/away from the oven
- Lower temperature/mode (not available for PAX Mini)
- If you’re not seeing any odd blinking lights, and PAX doesn't shut off after then your device is working as designed
If PAX is left standing alone while it's heating, it will get hot, once you wrap your hand around it, the heat will dissipate into your skin.
