No, you must:
ALWAYS Keep In the upright position. The most common cause of air in the system or the slow leak of pressure is transportation
ALWAYS store with the release valve in a fully closed “clockwise “ tight position.
ALWAYS with plates together tight under pressure.
if you do find that you have air in the system this is how you can fix it.
If your Nugsmasher is not holding pressure it is most likely that you have air in the system and your Nugsmasher must purge of air (BLEED) this typically occurs when the unit has been transported or has had a real rough shipment to bleed your Nugsmasher it is a very easy process.
The first step is to bleed your unit, pump it so the plates are together with pressure then flip it upside down on its top and release the knob ¼ turn counterclockwise to release pressure and drop plates. Please do not turn the release knob more than ¼ turn counterclockwise. Re-tighten the release valve snug then turn it back over and give it a try. You may need to do this process a couple of times but should solve the loss of pressure issue.
